TRUXX App collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
TRUXX App reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App or any part thereof, at any time and without prior notice. TRUXX App may also modify these Terms at its discretion; changes will be effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for updates.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TRUXX App is based. Any disputes arising from or connected to these Terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
What we collect. The app collects your device’s precise location (GPS, Wi-Fi, and mobile networks) and may also collect approximate location. If you enable “on-duty/online” or start a trip, the app may continue to collect location while the app is in the background to provide core features such as live trip tracking.
Why we collect it. To assign jobs, navigate, provide accurate ETAs, show live driver location to dispatchers/customers, generate proof of pickup/delivery, detect route issues, and ensure safety/compliance.
When collection happens. Only when you are logged in and set to Available/On Duty or have an active trip. You can go Offline at any time to stop location collection.
Sharing. We share live/near-real-time location with the company’s dispatch systems and (when relevant) the customer who booked the service. We do not sell data. We use service providers (e.g., maps/analytics) who process data under contract.
Security. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Retention. Location history is retained for [e.g., 12 months] for operations, dispute handling, and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices. You can revoke permissions in device settings or go Offline in the app to stop background collection.
